Re: Canadian RVR
The US/Canada RVR is already implemented and should be working normally. To get it to work you should add %rvr_grp% in the format at row 'rvr' and change %rvrminm% and %rvrmaxm% to %rvrminft% and %rvrmaxft% at 'rvr_grp'. In the strings there are optional _u, _n and _u_n endings to the strings. _u = unit is added at the end of the value, _n = in plain numeric (e.g "1000". Default functionality without _n parameter is {1000}). _u_n is both of those.

Re: Canadian RVR
Great stuff, thank you
I noticed that RVR won't show if a value is below 1000FT. Could you look into it please?

Re: Canadian RVR
I didn't find any problem with the RVR values not showing and I tried a few different types of RVR. It'd be helpful if you'd include the METAR which caused problems, it would make it much easier to see what you see.JeanFrederik wrote:Great stuff, thank you

It could cause problems with RVR values below 1000ft if those are not preceeded by 0 as per the METAR decoding documentation.
I did find a problem where two types of rvrft strings had metric output.
